Wow. It’s crazy how a few months can just seem to zip right by in the blink of an eye. In my own defense, i’ve had a few big lifetime events keeping me occupied in the non-internet world, which included my wedding, a short trip, and the purchase of a new home. Sadly this has left little time for updating this blog, which is now in need of some serious love.

I spent a few weeks in January and February training a (relatively) new volunteer at CJSW. It’s the nature of a community-run station that on-air folks are constantly changing. Having the privilege of having my own show dictates that I must sometimes take time out of my usual programming to help get the new young bloods get up to speed on how to do this radio thing. It doesn’t always make for the most captivating radio however, so some of the shows haven’t been archived here in mp3 form.

As I mentioned, I recently got married . As part of the ceremony, I put together a mix of love songs. When I was going through my collection trying to pick out tracks for the wedding, I came across a great number of great love songs. For various reasons — but mostly because they were about heartache — these were unsuitable for a wedding, but I still really felt like playing them, so you can find them mixed into the second half of the show. My Trainee, Raj programmed and mixed the first half of the show.
