MCs extraordinaire Relic and Ghettosocks drop by CJSW in the middle of their #cabinfever tour ahead of their June 21st date at the Hifi as part of Sled Island and ahead of their July 1st showing at Dickens’ Pub.
The 2 dope boys get us up to speed on what’s going on with the tour and their music before trading sick freestyle verses live in studio. Not to miss!

No playlist or show this week as DJ Tokyo took over while I was out of town.
This might be the first time I’ve played a German hip hop track on the show. I only recently stumbled on this Cro track, but I liked the vibe and its Bobby Hebb sample. No rules against playing a 3yr old euro pop tracks, right?
After that, a cheeky bootleg and we slowly run ‘tings up from funk to house.

Yep, pretty much forgot my laptop at home before the show, so I had to dig into the CJSW library for source material for the show this week. No biggy, the library’s got some pretty solid stacks of wax. Before we got into the wax though, I kicked off with a few tasty joints from some nice Canadian peeps, and some PUTS tracks ahead of their show that night (which was amazing, btw…).
